November 17, 2016 (Jerusalem, Israel) – The medical interventions and outcomes of Israelis with spinal cord injury (SCI) can now be captured in the Rick Hansen SCI Registry (RHSCIR), a prospective observational study of individuals sustaining a traumatic SCI, thanks to the teams at the Rick Hansen Institute (RHI) and Hadassah Medical Center.

Nov 10, 2016 – The Rick Hansen Institute’s (RHI) CEO, Bill Barrable, and Manager of Commercialization & Industry Relations, Jonathan Miodowski, will travel to Israel November 13-17, 2016 to expand and strengthen RHI’s network within the Israeli realm of technology and innovation.

The Rick Hansen Institute (RHI) is proud to partner with the Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation (ONF) to co-fund, engage in program planning, and attend three leading summits focused on care-related issues for people with spinal cord injury (SCI). Each summit will be hosted in Toronto, ON.

Aug 3, 2016 – On August 1, 2016 an event was held at Middlemore Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand to mark the launch of the New Zealand Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Registry, developed in partnership with the Rick Hansen Institute (RHI). The data collected in the registry will lead to better services, care and support for people living with SCI, and reduce long term health care costs.
